ok if you re not religious or haven't read the holy bible then you might not want to bother seeing this movie because you wont really get the concept or the meaning of whats really going on
the action was dope i would have been more satisfied if it was more of it because it was well shot & choreographed
the acting was ok nothing over the top

the movie was basically about the world going to shit & civilization being all fucked up. all the bibles were burned & there is only one left & eli aka denzel is carrying it & protecting it
& there isa character in the movie that wants that book so he can use it to control everyone as he builds new towns
the thing that got me was the book making denzel invincible lol
or at the end how the girl gets in all black like shes about to go out & kick ass like denzel did when she clearly couldnt defend herself when she was about to get raped but i guess thats the power of the bible
it gives you the ability to fight & keeps you from being harmed
like i said because ive read the bible i understood the main point of the movie & all the lil things like the voice in his head, the faith, the effect that reading scriptures have on people, & why the guy wanted it so bad to control the people
so i didnt think it was stupid but i didnt think it was a good movie
il give it a C+

I agree! It was actually kind of boring towards the end because you knew what was going to happen. I still had to explain it to my friend because he had it ALL WRONG.
what i wanna know is.. was he blind ??
