THE ROAD - MOVIE REVIEW
so this movie came out back in November around thanksgiving & i said i wanna see that movie
i set up at least 5 different movie dates (just somebody to go to the movies with me nothing more) & all 5 of those people flaked =[ week after week flake after flake
so last night i finally have some people to go with me & my mom hits me up about 2 hrs from the scheduled movie time saying she needed me to take her to the rental car place
& instead of me jumping right up to it i kind of lagged so i can finish watching the vikings vs. bears game & i figured it wont take too long & plus its been a whole month since this movie has been out its a select theater film as well so i doubt anybody will be there
so i leave about 8:30
the movie time was for 10:10
after 2 rental places i didn't leave my mom until about 10:20
i meet them up there to find out the fucking show is sold out !!!!!!!
WTF how could this Be i couldn't believe it
i was fucked out of seeing the movie yet again
so decided that i was gonna say fuck it & go to the movies by MYSELF as painful as it sounded i was tired of waiting around on other people tired of trying to make shit convenient for other folks
& even tho i frown upon going to the movies solo
i did it any way
hoody on hat low & a mask on so nobody would recognize me lol
& after a months worth of fuckery
i see the movie
& DIDN'T like it =[
it wasn't no where near as raw as i thought it was going to be with the cannibalism
they didn't explain what happened to the earth even tho i knew i still would think they would explain it in the movie
the lil kid was a soft ass cry baby & annoyed the fuck out of me
i did like that it was realistic with the whole cannibalism thing
i mean when its nothing left to eat on earth people will eat each other
i also liked the fact that the man was trying to do whatever he could to protect his son & never gave up hope
even during the times he lost hope for a second & wanted to kill his son just to keep him from being eaten he still came thru
it was cool that he was trying to make his son tough so he could survive but sucked that he was still a pussy & wanted to help others instead of focusing on himself & his father
I'm glad the dad died @ the end cause he was all broken down its only realistic he kill over
& THE MOM WAS THE WORST
seeing stuff like that just pushes me more & more away from getting married
i guess nobody would ever want to fall in love with someone & marry them then find out that they re weak as fuck when you need them to be there & be strong the most
i honestly think i would have been more entertained with reading the book
so im gonna check out amazon
i suggest others do the same its a good story
the movie just sucked
