So I sign on myspace, look up @ the status box read the updates & I see a gorgeous girl ...didn't bother to read what the update said I just clicked on the picture to view the profile & as soon as I got to the profile no longer was I trying to view more of nichole 5'5 frame black hair & brown eyes .....I was trying to view nichole's work, I was instantly shocked & impressed with everything I was seeing as I scrolled down the page after saying this shit is tight about a couple times I knew this was a different kind of talent that I'd have to have featured on my site...........sooooooo here it is different strokes featuring nichole camarillo.









How old were you when you first started painting?
I was 17. Until then, I was pretty intimidated by color. All of my art was black & white.Even after starting to paint, it was a long time before I became comfortable with it.

Ok & how old were when you decided this is what you wanted to do in life as a hobby but also a career?
That's kind of difficult to pinpoint. I almost immediately knew that painting was something I would be doing forever. I don't think I took it seriously (just as a hobby) until I was about 20. But then a shitstorm came down on my life like you wouldn't believe. And it wasn't until last year that I finished cleaning most of that mess. It was then I decided to take my art seriously as a career and as my way of life. Every day it becomes more and more difficult but every day I become more and more dedicated.

Did you ever think you would get to where you are now with it?No. I never would have thought that it would be anything close to where it is now. And it's barely even started. It took me a really long time to have faith in myself. To grasp the talent I hold and what could come of it. But I see it now, so everybody can watch out. ;)

How long does it usually take for you to finish a drawing/painting?
That really depends on how long it takes the paint to dry. It could be a day, it could be three weeks. I draw really fast.On average paintings take somewhere around four days.

Sheesh thats a long time I have a feeling you don't get to much sleep....am I correct?
You sure as hell are. I'm typing this at 3am, what does that tell you? Ha. It's okay though. It used to be a problem,like, "FUCK! I never get any sleep!" But now it's more of a fact. Like, "Yeah, I don't get any sleep."



So when you do actually get some sleep what's the first thing you do when you wake up?
Inspect the premises. Lol, weeeeird. I look in every room and peek out the windows on both side of my place. There's neverany craziness, it just comforts me to do.

Sounding a lil paranoid with the checking the premises thing.......any crazy story or stories behind the reason you do a house scan every morning ?Ahaha... I could write for years on that. I've lived in some pretty bad houses, apartments, cities, neighborhoods, whatever. And I've been homeless a few times. That for sure will add some crazy stories to your life book. But I really don't think it has to do with any of that. I was just raised to be overtly cautious and paranoid. Lol



hahaa any strange habits that you keep a secret ?
Mmhmm... And I'm great at keeping secrets.

Do you walk around the house with socks on or socks off?EW! Guess who struck my OCD chord. This is something that really grosses me out. I'm so crazy about what touches my feet.I don't mind walking on my carpet barefoot. But if I have to walk into the kitchen or something, I slip on my sandals.And if I'm ANYWHERE else, I probably won't even walk on the carpet. I feel dirty just thinking about it.

Heard you quit smoking, how long have you been smoke free?
Ohhhh whaaat... someone pays attention. Haha. Well, I have been smoke free for 28 days. I started smoking four years ago whenmy dad died. I picked up a LOT of bad habits at that time. Lol. It's crazy though, because my entire life until then I had been over the top anti-smoke. Then all of a sudden I was smoking packs a day. It was bad. I decided that September 22ndwould be my quit date. It's the day he died. I decided that I didn't want to use him as an excuse to hurt myself anymore.And about a month ago I decided that wasn't good enough. I knew I was stronger than a quit date and stronger than a habit.So I just quit then. Cold turkey. And that was the best decision ever. I feel great.

well you know i had to do a lil reading up on you before i started my interrogation......sorry to hear about your dad im glad you stoped smoking though.......now i also found out about your liking of DJ Krush ....have you always been into instrumentals & weird different sounds when it came to beats & music?
Around the time I started painting, I started listening to a lot of acid jazz, drum & bass, and jungle music. That mostly had to do with how much I was drinking at the time. A friend of mine was always bringing me new stuff like that. He was really into it. I'd drink, he'd get high, and we'd listen to crazy shit I never would have listened to otherwise. Ha. I don't seek out that kind of music anymore. But I still love and listen to my favorites from when I did.





Now I'll admit I have an internet crush on you......sooo I was wondering if me & your stalkers can know 3 things that a guy can do to sweep you off your feet ?
Uh oh. Lol, you know, I'm not sure I've ever thought about that seriously. There's been plenty of guys to pull out the big guns and go for some grand gestures but I'm not all that into shows. When the show is over, what are you left with?I'm far more impressed by the basics but even those things are (sadly) rare to come by. Yeaaahh... this question is makingme sad. :/ I'll just say that 3 things I'm a sucker for... charm, wit, and drive.

so is it safe to say for starters that simply being a gentlemen is kind of sort of enough to get the job done.....doing all the lil things alot of guys dont do any more ...such as picking you up, walking to the door not honking or texting to come outside, opening doors, giving up the coat, listening, making sure you walk on the inside & not the outside next to the curb, pulling out your chair, paying, ect ect lol?
LOL... THANK YOU for at least KNOWING about not letting her walk on the outside next to the curb. Lol. Seriously. Who raised you? They get a pat on the back. Well... a gentleman in these ways is definitely something I'm impressed by. But also being a not-so-gentleman in other ways is what's really going to get the job done.

How often did people spell your name with out the H growing up?Way too much. Always actually. Haha. It didn't used to bother me though. I even used to hate that I had that H there.After my dad died is when it really started to get to me. He always used to put so much weight on the importance of a name. I didn't really get it then, but I do now. There's only so many things a person has to hold on to. Things liketheir word, and their name. I take great pride in carrying my name and would never do anything to intentionally disrespector dishonor it. It may not seem like a big deal to some people, but it is to me. So yeah... don't forget that H.

Thats cool that you hold down your name like that, get it right!! respect every letter dammit lol Do you get annoyed when random people start to nick name you or just shorten up your name?
Sometimes it's weird, sometimes it's not. If I'm uncomfortable, it'll be known. But generally, it's not something I'm too bothered with. It's not something people do much anyway.

What's more of a disappointment A dude you really like with a small penis Or a dude you like with just the right size but cums to quick?
It's funny how you slip these questions in so casually. Now I know what people must have felt like when talking to me. That blend of appalled and intrigued that you don't quite know how to react to. Lol Well... the downfall for guy #2 can be worked with. The downfall for guy #1 can not. The disappointment is guy #1.BUT in all fairness, in my dating days, I would have dropped them both. Or nevermind... that probably isn't fair.

Yay. My time, patience, and standards barely gave a guy enough room for a first chance. No way was I passing out second chances.

Lol... yes. But never my own fights. I've always been a reasonable person that avoided any altercations if possible.No one ever had problems with me. I was always backing up hot-tempered friends.

A couple of your pieces make me say hmmmmm she likes girls & appreciates the female body as much as I do or maybe she's a sex addict ......which 1 is true?
Ahaha... probably both. I mean, I'm not into women sexually, but I AM a woman, and I AM sexual. As a woman, I can appreciatea woman's body in ways that you can't. Or any man. And as I get older, I become more in tune with my sexuality. I don'tget to explore or showcase that as much as I used to, but that's because of certain constraints in my life right now. Even the sexuality in my paintings is heavily censored when compared to what's inside my mind and body. And to think a woman doesn'treach her sexual prime until she's in her thirties. I can't even imagine what THAT's going to be like. Or how my art willevolve in that time. I'm sure it'll be fun though.

What's the usual process when coming up with these master pieces ....do you have dreams ... Do you go somewhere to think & Get inspiration do you just go with the flow or what ??My paintings are always dreams. Clear and perfect visions. Then, of course, they change somewhat as I attack them on canvas.I also add things that symbolize people or emotions or whatever it is I want to convey. My own little secrets. Sometimes viewers catch these and sometimes they don't. But even when they do, I'm the only one that really knows for sure. That keepsme connected to the painting and keeps it personal, regardless of how many people see it. And if there are ever any breaks during painting sessions where I kind of lose my flow, music keeps things on track. In fact,most of my paintings are titled after song lyrics. Whatever songs kept those paintings alive.




Do you receive any negative feed back for the raunchy, out there, bold, crazy paintings you do?
I know my paintings can be a tough pill to swallow sometimes. Or...most of the time. But people are pretty polite about it.I think they can appreciate art as art and move on. I mean, if you don't like looking at something, don't look at it. No onehas ever been rude to me about something they may not have liked, but I don't see any reason why they should be. I don't likelandscapes but I don't make it a point to tell the artist their trees are lame. Or their ocean bores me. That's silly.

Do you have a favorite color?
Damn it... I have a top 4. It's been the same for as long as I can remember. If I have to choose one color, I guess I would say charcoal gray. Otherwise, the other three are coral, aqua, and chocolate brown.

Now whats your favorite color to paint with?
SO happy you separated these into two questions. To paint with... red. Without a doubt. I can empty three tubes of red paint before one tube of any other color. It's so intense, bold and full of passion. And it can represent so many different emotions, good and bad. I adore red. In my paintings, it usually represents love, blood, or anger.




What's your most overused word, expression & or phrase ?
I think I overuse sounds more than words. Egh, agh, ugh, meh, bah. I use those to death and they don't even make sense.

egh agh ugh meh bah & all the other 3 letter words that would end with an "H" sound like expressions of irritation & frustration & to me the most frustratings in life are usully the things you love the most ......so im going to go out on a limb and say you make alot of those noises while painting?
That would be a really good guess. But... nope. It's extremely rare that I'm frustrated while painting. I mean, I get pretty pissed if something interrupts my painting, but that doesn't have to do with the act of painting itself. Painting is probably the only thing that keeps me sane. Well, the only thing I can count on that keeps me sane. Those words usually come out because I'm frustrated with something I'm not getting.

What keeps you motivated to continue doing what your doing day in & day out ?
Complete strangers will tell me how I've helped them, inspired them, or motivated them. That's insane to me. Knowing that people are relating to what I do, feel, or think, is absolutely mind-blowing to me. People will tell me how impressed theyare with how hard I work or how much I work and that it pushes them to work harder. Some people will even write me just to say that my smile made them smile. Even on my worst days, how could that not lift me up? There are people that have reached me in a positive way. I know how that feels. To be able to give that feeling to someone else... I can't even describe that. But it motivates me beyond belief.

Any big plans for the future you might be willing to share with the world?There are always things in the works and I'm always looking ahead. But there's something about telling of those plans beforethey're complete that just rubs me the wrong way. Like, how annoying is it when someone is reading over your shoulder? Youwant to tell them, "Just give me a minute, and I'll hand you the book!" ...It's like that. I will give you a heads up for October though. There will be a lot of painting releases. And definitely not something you're used to seeing from me.



What's the coolest animal on the planet ?
I have an overwhelming urge to answer giraffe, but I don't even know why.

If you could see any celebs leaked naked photos who would it be?I guess I could say any celeb that I find attractive. Benjamin Bratt, Ryan Reynolds, Clive Owen, etc. But honestly, I think I'd be bored with that. It would be FAR more entertaining to sees someone that would probably creep me out. LikeOprah or Conan O'Brien. Lol... I'm already entertained just thinking about it.
